“Time” was Created for man on the 4th Day and not for God.
The 4th day of creation, was a very special day of creation, it is where God created Time, now don’t get me wrong every day of creation were very special days, God took pride in His handy work. God tells us all we have to do is look to His creation to know that He exists.
Psalm 8:3 (KJV 1900): 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained
Psalm 19:1–6 (KJV 1900): 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, And night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, And his circuit unto the ends of it: And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof

Time is not the same for God, like it is for Us because God is infinite, a day for God is like a 1,000 years. He always was with no beginning, He is today and He always will be with no ending.
2 Peter 3:8 (AV): 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Psalm 90:3–4 (AV): 4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Unlike God we have a beginning, there was a time we didn’t exist until we were fashioned in our mother’s womb. So with our conception we will never, “not exist” we will go into infinitely somewhere, to be with Jesus or the lake of fire for Eternity with out end, without Him.
The 24hr Day for man was Created on the 4th Day. Remember man was not created until the 6th Day, everything was being transformed to accommodate man and his Decision on weather he would obey the command of God or not, his sin was not that he would disobey God, it was the fact that he would want to be god, like Lucifer.
When one studies Time , you will find that the creation of the Sun as being the center of our world, with the earth traveling around the Sun to give us a Annual calendar and the Earth making One revolution giving us a 24 hour Day, we have a North Star that gives us directions at night, we have a Moon that gives us the lesser light at night and our tides with its gravitational pull.
We have telescopes, unlike at the time of the writing of Scriptures
, now that shows how vast and huge our God is, with the creation of the skies beyond our Solar System is, and yet He is small enough to Live within my Heart. So, to believe that a 24hr Day existed prior to day 4 of Creation need to study the effects of the Sun, Moon and Stars on this World

Revelation 3:20 (KJV 1900): 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
There have been Commentaries and no telling how many Books by writers of God’s Word and Sermons preached that tell us, “God” created everything in SIX, Twenty-hour days which are not true.
2 Timothy 2:15 (AV): 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
