There were 2 Trees in the Garden of Eden
The First Tree we are quite acquainted with and it was the tree of knowledge of good and evil which changed the future of humanity and not for the good. The second is the tree of Life. These two trees produced fruits with intrinsic values, let us begin with the tree of knowledge of good and evil and speak of these intrinsic values or virtues.
Galatians 5:22–23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self control. Against such things, there is no law.
This is the good part of the fruit, now let us list the evil part or values of that fruit.

5. Wrath Patience

7. Pride Humility
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, for these are in opposition to one another, so that whatever you want, you may not do these things. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, things which I am telling you in advance, just as I said before, that the ones who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
As you can see the good value of the fruit is distorted by the evil value of the same fruit which affects our conscience, you can have love 💕 without knowing Jesus.
Examples:
1. A mother would die for her children.
2. A soldier would Jump on a Grenade to save his fellow soldiers.
We as Christians call that agape Love-Unconditional Love a love that sacrifices for others.
Then Lust changes it to Phileo love, a love 💕 that wants to satisfy the flesh - where we get Pornography, perverted physical sex between man on man and women on women, sex with children. Read Leviticus chapter 18 and with all types of sexual distortion of our conscience the flesh is at war with the good part of the fruit as you can see with what is called the 7 deadly sins brings about lying, murder adultery covetousness and all types of sins, which Jesus will forgive except ONE and that is the sin of rejecting Him as God.
One can live apart from God and choose to do good and Live life as they know it and do this with any of the good parts of the fruit of man's Soul, which will get twisted with the evil part of that fruit that God told Adam not to eat from.
Then Jesus, when Jesus was praised as good master, He said there is none good, but God, which leaves us with a problem because if the only One that is good is God where does that leave you and me.
All the teaching you have heard about, that it was Adam and Eve’s disobedience which separated us from God, they are clueless of what God was teaching about man’s Sin. There is a Commentary that says that Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Life while in the Garden of Eden, if that was so, why was God concerned about them finding the Tree of Life and eating from it and living forever knowing good and evil, don’t these people read their Bible. They can be right on so many things and get it wrong on some particularly important parts of Scripture.
So, this will be interesting the tree of life, the tree of life is mentioned 13 times in Scripture 5x in Genesis, 5x in Revelation, 3x in Proverbs.
There are 9 virtues of that fruit named and when we get to Revelation, we see the tree is life has 12 fruits of the Spirit, which will be replenished each month.
In order to have all 12 values of the fruit is to be Born Again “Saved” is the only way too truly live-in complete obedience to the good values of the fruit, is to be in Christ and Christ in you. Have You ever wonder what the extra 3 virtues of the fruit that are not mentioned with the 9 intrinsic values that are listed as the Fruits of the Spirit or man’s Soul and conscience of man and will change to 12 virtues of the fruit once we are Saved and get only at Salvation. I have an idea, but it is just my thoughts on the subject. Remember when the rich young man asked Jesus? What must I do to gain eternal life? He left because he was rich, the desire to keep his money was more than his desire to follow Jesus ,even though he thought he was a good man.

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

When Jesus moves in and takes the Throne of our Heart that rightly belongs to Him, He enables us to truly do and comply and be in obedience to Him. The 2nd tree is the Tree of Life it is mentioned in Genesis and Adam “Man” was separated from it, when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the tree of life is where Jesus died on and made payment for our Sin “The Cross” and allowed us to be reconciled back to God for all those that Believe on Jesus Christ alone, without works.
Hebrews 9:22 (KJV) 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
But it was not by Blood only, it was by Blood and Water – The Blood was payment for sin and Water is the Holy Spirit given at Salvation, an event that takes place when you know that you know, Jesus moved in and made you One with Him.
